Hey guys, I’m playing Pandemic Legacy and I was the first to eradicate the red virus so now I get to name it! Let me know if you have any good exocomics-related names :D

If you don’t know what Pandemic Legacy is then shhh don’t worry.

Kde connect almost made me tear up the first time I used it. The anguish I had to go through to upload a file or picture every once in a while to my desktop. Then I find kde and boom there it is.

Syncthing works very well for continuous synchronization between many devices, including phones (android at least), just set up and forget

My experience with Syncthing between PC and phone was pretty bad. Maybes it work better when you aren’t running GrapheneOS …

Fun fact! You can use KDE Connect even on Windows, macOS and Android.

Useful to transfer stuff between my devices, or to use my phone as a remote control when I’m watching a movie on the couch!!

(and I’m pretty sure that, on linux, you don’t need plasma to use it)

TIL KDE connect can be used for file sharing. The last time I tried it, I think I used it as a touchpad for a Raspberry Pi or something like that …
