His PC runs Ubuntu 24.04 and the mouse is a Razer Basilisk V3 35K. I tested it on my Ubuntu PC and it had the same problem.

    I have a mouse with the same problem. I just wrote a script to turn the USB port off and on at boot. Works like a charm.

    I’m using the same mouse on Tumbleweed without any problems. If it acts up on two different machines I’d say the mouse is broken.

    Is the mouse plugged directly into the motherboard USB port? I’ve had this with the built in USB hub in my monitor, it fails to initialize after waking up sometimes and needs a replug.
