    Ah, giving details about a horrific thing to someone that explicitly said they did not want detail about the horrific thing. Internet, ever so helpful.

      Explaining that it is not a real name is arguably reducing the level of detail that they thought they knew.

      They came into the thread. They commented on the thread. They are not the only person in this thread. To think that the thread should come to a complete halt because one person who willingly participated said they don’t like the topic is asinine. But at least you and I both got to do what we love: complain pointlessly.

      If providing a definition for a general expression to someone who mistook it for a name is “giving details about a horrific thing” to you, then that’s definitely a you-problem.
