That’s a bit reductive, isn’t it? Are you saying that all christians would blame someone for speaking up? It feels like it, regardless
Faith is not the evil here, staying hung up on what some people said centuries before us without giving second thought is. And some people do think it over when thinking about their faith. I don’t think it’s fair to them to say that their own faith is the cause of such hate and sedentarism
Excuse me, of course all christians do not behave exactly as the bible says. On that point either. They are also told to do not kill nor rape, and some do it anyway, so even if they are told to blame those who speak up, some disobey and support them instead.
Yet most of them behave according to the principles they have learnt, most of the time. And when a scandal that doesn’t conrcern them directly spread in the news, it usually iritate them, and their position on the topic usually starts against those who speak up.
