They ran out of them.
The index hasn’t been produced for almost a year now, and first they ran out of spare lighthouses (though HTC still sells compatible ones) and now it seems they ran out of the full kits and put all the rest to a clearance sale.
Is it just me, or do they only have the headset, replacement left controller, and replacement tether available? You can’t buy the entire kit?

Shit, my vaccum cleaner has pulled a lighthouse off the shelf few weeks ago and I did not check whether it’s working…
I had 2 lighthouses fall from about 5 feet, one lived and one didn’t. Hopefully you have good luck
Not cheap, though. 1.0 lighthouses are $100. The 2.0 model is $230. Each. You’re probably better off buying a used Index kit if you can find one.
