I was joking a bit but I think they’re great in more than one way. It’s like once you start putting together MG or higher then it’s not just a toy anymore, especially if you start doing the modifications or lights. It helped me with mobility when I broke a couple fingers last year. The funny thing about gunpla is I was shopping in Akihabara and there were Japanese businessmen buying them, and I mean with grey hair. Even the clerk, who also was older, was like ‘oh Gundam’ heh
Next time I go, I will get as many special editions as possible.
If my Gundam models make me an incel, no one tell my kid*.

…since my child exists because of a time I was not celibate, and because my kid also loves Gundam models.
