I’m glad she wants to do humanitarian work again, but she’s an anti-vaxer and will probably just get a load of vulnerable children killed.

“There are many people who will claim that actors are making the world a better place, that they’ve had an impact on their lives,” she said. “But I’ve always wanted a much more hands-on impact. I’ve done 22 years of hands-on humanitarian work in Rwanda, and I want more of that.”

      Oh no…

Funny to think that several years ago this still felt like the worst thing you could learn about a celebrity on their wikipedia page.

No wonder she is against the Hollywood pedo elite class.

      (kakistocracy)

Furthermore, the term Anti-vax and conspiracy realist is now a badge of honour in 2026.

She may not get vulnerable children killed with her beliefs but people who react in irrational fear from false beliefs do. Especially those who watch TV + Believe the status quo without question or colonising their own minds and bodies.

“I don’t know who this celebrity is” is the new I don’t even own a TV

You can just look her up on the internet, you don’t need to ask in the comments

I think this thread may be missing the joke when a celebrity says they don’t miss being famous and the response is “who?”

They were barely famous, not exactly a household name. So there’s humour in declaring not knowing who she is.

Instead we’ve got the fun police complaining about the lack of use of search engines and then an explanation on how to use search engines.

In other words: Yeah, but I wasn’t over. Give me the marker Dude. I’m marking an 8.

Clarification: Every smartphone can long-press and search the default search engine, which is usually Google, but some people change it to DuckDuckGo or something else for privacy reasons. Either way, it’ll tell you who a famous person is.

Every computer/web browser can highlight, right click, search the Internet for the highlighted thing. You don’t need special software to do it.

(Not disagreeing, just clarifying for anyone who doesn’t know how. Though, I suppose they do know, they just feel entitled to have someone explain it to them personally.)

Apologies if this is new to you but, Nobody should use google search or accounts since the start.

It is the equivalent to having a pistol pointing at your own forehead.

        Try Searx instead…

It uses all search engines at once without the tracking and targeting. Just try any from the list and make it your default.
