    “More than 10 years old”

As in when the Black Lives Matter movement was gaining momentum and nationwide attention?

Black Lives Matter was spring/summer 2020. Six years ago. Remember when the whole world was on COVID lockdown for no reason, when simultaneously in other news, some police officer accidentally murdered a black man who was being detained for several crimes, his last words were “I can’t breathe!” because officer had his knee pinning down the man’s neck. Then BLACK LIVES MATTER became the nation’s chant and we were finally able to gather in groups, no more social distancing as long as it’s for BLM rallies & protests. But if we weren’t protesting we were required to social distance. And it turned out that the whole BLM agenda was manufactured by something something Democrats who took full advantage of the movement & embezzled money. Do you remember all these psyops? I sure as hell do.

Black Lives Matter may have peaked in 2020, but it started in 2013 and held many major protests in the mid-to-late 2010s (that’s why it was able to be so big in 2020: the organizational roots were already well-established in numerous cities across the country). The Wikipedia article on the movement does a thorough job exploring its history, which I’d highly encourage anyone unfamiliar with pre-2020 BLM to explore.

regardless of how it was coopted by neoliberal campaigns, the grassroots movement started in 2013 with the martin/zimmerman case.
