Yeah, it’s a really great primer that everyone should read. I’d argue that it’s one of the best texts for developing an intuition for material dialectics as well.
Not enough people mention Donella Meadows when bringing up theory, which I think is a missed opportunity. Systems thinking is very complementary to socialist theory, and Meadows’ book Thinking in Systems is quite approachable. It’s a good recommendation for someone who wants to learn more but still has some liberal brain worms.
Being approachable, and not strictly political is definitely a huge plus for being able to recommend it to regular people.
