I reached age 40 and I just disagree with anything in this comic. Low energy, furniture and plastic crap are for other people.

Haha you think I can afford new furniture??!

Totally right about the containers tho (though I use glass containers and I have two favorites but they serve different purposes)

I bought a new water filter today I’m very pleased with it as it’s slightly different to the previous filter.

But yes I’ve definitely become a lot more interested in Tupperware then I would have previously thought possible. I think that’s just because when I was a kid things just happened, and now I actually have to make them happen I realise how convenient it is to have storage containers rather than just putting bowls and plates in the fridge and messing around with crappy plastic film.

I’m an adult and I don’t get excited about of this crap.

Last month I bought myself 5 kilos of second-hand Bionicle parts for a total steal. Now that is something to be excited about!

Adults are just bigger children who:

    • Peer pressured themselves into stop playing. (optional)

    • Know when it’s appropriate to be silly or have to act serious. (Recommended)

    • Understand the concept of consent. (Should be mandatory but somehow isn’t)

Am i glad video games and lego have gotten normalised for adults at least.

I generally just do whatever the fuck I want to. Idk it’s not that hard. Surround yourself with good people and things will be generally good.

The self peer pressure is real, I think as an adult you start to take into account the effort it takes to do things so you are more conscious about what is worth doing or sacrificing time from other things to do which lowers the fun part of doing it making it less worth it

ah, but you see…our marketing department says people spend 10% nore when they’re forced to spend 30% more time wondering around our store.

A supermarket near me has reorganised and they’ve had to put up signs telling people where everything now is. So what was the point in reorganising it?

I think there should be legal definitions of where things are and what aisles they’re on. I don’t understand why sometimes eggs are considered dairy and other times they’re in a completely different part of the store. I actually don’t care which one they pick but I would like all supermarkets to be consistent. One place near me that has a dairy aisle, for all dairy except yogurts, which are on a neighbouring aisle. Every time I want some cheese I always go down the yoghurt aisle and get lost.

And then when it stops working so well, because they all stop working so well after about 2 months, is when they all tell you they got one too and you get nervous that you’ve hyped it up so much
