If you’ve ever heard of Metamucil, that’s just psyllium husk in a powder form and it’s not just for old people. Adding some of this to your daily routine has a ton of benefits. I tried to write a few sentences explaining the benefits but they all turn out like shit.

Fiber is extremely beneficial, and feeds the gut microbiome, with which we have a symbiotic relationship and which helps us make things like serotonin. Consuming a whole foods diet, boosting fiber intake with things like psyllium husk and inulin, and regularly consuming fermented foods will help maintain a healthy gut microbiome. Microbiome disbiosis is one of the hallmarks of aging, and can have a huge negative impact on your health.
