Heart warming story of a royal toddler who noped the fuck out after being caught up in a political murder scheme, met two stoners, became a stoner himself, and kinda just did nothing but be a stoner until his ~20s when he was finally swayed to put the blunt down after his toddler-crush just randomly shows up one day and fucks him. He then proceeds to overthrow the government.

They just don’t make wholesome movies like that anymore. <3

Why does the color saturation on this look like it was taken from a Disney McDonald’s plate that’s been through the dishwasher too many times?

Time for a rewatch, it’s kinda worse.

Simba: I killed my dad, was exiled on penalty of death, and almost starved to death.

Chucklefucks: Have you tried eating bugs and positive thinking?

    longer write up

Simba thinks he killed his father. Then some killers chase him away from his home and everything he’s ever known. Then he nearly starves to death.

These two fuckers charge up on a lark, just looking for kicks by scaring buzzards, only barely stopping to care when one notices he’s still breathing, and only then because they want to use him as their personal bodyguard.

Then they tell his starving carnivore ass to eat some bugs, and finally the “have you just tried shutting the fuck up and ignoring your trauma?”

Didn’t they lack* any clue about simba being a prince, perceiving himself as a patricidal murderer, or the manipulation? I feel like I remember simba guarding that info

This is also how I recall it. They didn’t find out until after Nala came back in the picture when Simba was all growed up

Yep, and they were like “holy shit, let’s go do something about it immediately!” Which is the opposite of not giving a fuck about it.
