Lost of not only our species lives, but Other Living Beings & acres of Living Environments,

Lessing the amount of time we have to prevent the worst of ‘Global Warming’!
Yes, you can get increased efficiency and performance from solar panels that are in orbit. Yes, you can collect that power and beam it down to Earth.
However, it turns out that with launch costs, it’s far cheaper just to buy more panels and keep them on the ground than it is to try and run a solar farm in space.

This is simply false. There’s no shortage of space to set up panels. You can power entire nations with just the space available on top of buildings, parking lots, roads, etc. Or really there’s plenty of space in desert environments. Hell, even farmland can host solar panels through agriphotovoltaics. There has never been a solar power project in history that’s been canceled due to lack of available space to build it.

It does, but it’s a drop in the ocean. You are severely underestimating how expensive it is to get things into orbit.
