At this rate, we’re going to literally have ICE agents hanging from lamp posts soon enough.

And frankly, anyone still saying, “but they’ll use that as an excuse to escalate,” can shove it up their ass.

Escalate to where? They are already executing US citizens in the street who haven’t done anything remotely illegal?

And not even receiving fake punishments to try and reassure the public that’s not what is actually happening.

        Escalate to where?

I get the sentiment, but there’s always a way to escalate. Right now these cop school rejects are driving rented civilian vehicles, using ordinary cop weapons. Start actually posing a threat and you’ll see the bozos drive APCs. Start using molotovs on their APCs, and ICE will get armed drones and even more twitchy trigger fingers on larger weapons.

I’m not arguing that you shouldn’t fight back, but governments rely on having a violence monopoly. If you threaten that monopoly, then the government will use more force.

I’m not saying roll over. Just be prepared for your opponent escalating and to keep fighting. Because if you take a couple of potshots at ICE, and then give up when the going gets tough, then you’d might as well have rolled over to begin with.

Tiananmen Square style massacre. Oligarchs saw that in 89 and thought, gee I’d like to do that in America and put the little people in their place.

There’s always marching people to mass graves and shooting them by the thousands or millions. Not quite there yet, but it’s the same monsters

Friendly reminder that thousands of detainees from this past year are missing with no records. There were tens of thousands of missing people his last term too.

I think there are plenty of big oaks, strong oaks, sap rolling down its trunk, that would be proud PATRIOTS, and happily uphold the LAW with their BIG STRONG BOUGHS.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The 3rd amendment is one of the last parts of the bill of rights that hasn’t been shit on. So it’s only a matter of time.

There are more of us than there are of them, and the military isn’t going to go along with this nonsense.

I’m sorry but you’re sorely mistaken. History tells us the military does whatever it’s told.

Lol, no. History tells us that for any coup to be successful, even a so-called “bloodless” coup, the military – or a critical mass thereof – must already be on board or get there quickly, or the coup FAILS.

Historically, unless the military is already in power, either as a junta or as a loyalist unit, the military is the big question mark, not the certainty, and history is full of attempted coups that never even got off the ground because the military laughed.

This is especially true here and now in the US as well: ICE is not the military. It’s not even a part of the military.

ICE is a comparatively tiny force of less that 5k that belongs to DHS and has hired a bunch of sociopaths to make big dramas of force in small places, and in so doing stage a big shock and awe program for the rest of us, including the servicemen and women of the military who are also citizens, many of whom are black and brown and whose loved ones are also being targeted by ICE.

He’s NOT doing this because the coup is already successful and we’ve all fallen in line; this is all being done so that we WILL fall in line. And it’s backfiring in his face. Imagine having to release the Epstein files because that is the lesser story, and you’re trying to draw attention away from tens of thousands who are spontaneously protesting across all fifty states because they hate you so much, lol.

I think you also may have forgotten that the US military is an entirely volunteer force. There is no draft here. People are in the US military because they choose to be. Why do you assume they are happier with this than anyone else?

I’ll believe the military is on board when I see it with my own eyes. THAT is what history tells us in reality.

Name a time in history that a paid military has refused it’s orders.

Imagine having to release the Epstein files because that is the lesser story

They had to release them because they were legally compelled. They don’t give a shit about backlash or they never would have sent them in in the first place.

He’s NOT doing this because the coup is already successful and we’ve all fallen in line

Doing what? Sending ICE into Democrat run cities? No. He’s doing in part to exact vengeance, and in part in order to enact martial law and cancel the midterms. He’s not been subtle about this.

I think you also may have forgotten that the US military is an entirely volunteer force.

It is 0% volunteer. Everyone is well-compensated.

People are in the US military because they choose to be.

Most of them are dumb people who couldn’t think of a better option. Many joined just for the opportunity to get a license to bully, harrass and kill others.

Most people who join the military do it because they have no other options. They come from counties where there is no work or hope. And the military gives them that. And the reason they will obey an order is because that’s how they were trained. It won’t be the grunts who will have to rebel, it will have to be Generals and Admirals, who will make that call.

He isn’t wrong about the military. Best we can hope is the rank and file just kinda half asses or does whatever they’re doing incompetently, but all of the leadership (including all the people that actually determine the legality of orders) have been replaced with MAGAts. It will be down to boots on the street refusing to fire on civilians and I don’t for a second believe sanity will prevail.
