Part of politics are like this. Like when you hear about people in white house doing terrible things. And you’re like who is this guy? “Oh he’s the secretary of defense.” What’s that mean? And soon it feels like if someone was trying to teach me about the people in Keeping up with the Kardashians. Or some other reality show.
But then other ones are like…We are cutting funding for poor people and welfare. And that should be cut and dry.

Right, don’t lie to a cop. Talk is the key word here. Lying to a cop could get you charged and arrested with obstruction because you lead them down a wild goose chase.
