The main problem I think is that OP ran out of funny vegan comics a long time ago, so what is left is bottom of the barrel quality. This comic for instance is not remotely funny and it’s a pattern at this point, none of them are.
I don’t think anything has to be “done” about it, it’s more embarrassing than anything at this point. I think it’s a good idea to call him out though, so new users understand the situation and don’t get the impression Lemmy is anti vegan or something.

Comic is clearly intended to be over the top hyperbole. You’d have to be pretty thin skinned to be offended by that. No one is going to think “dumb vegas eat living trees” based on this comic.
