    Read the Harriet Porber books by Chuck Tingle instead.

    Reading bigoted shit for free is still training your mind to think bigoted thoughts.

      That depends how you read it. Uncritically for wish fulfillment? Obviously. As a portrait of the author’s mind? Not at all.

      I think some experience reading fiction written for literate adults would do most people good.
