We’re back from holiday! Germany was great. Our favourite city was probably Hamburg because a) Miniatur Wunderland, b) Planten un Blomen and c) Hamburg DOM (we rode the big ferris wheel and there were fireworks! :D)
German tv was also funny because they have a lot of dubbed english shows. I had a great night lying in bed watching dubbed Gilmore Girls.
The people we met were all really friendly and nice, we had an awesome time. Thanks Germany!
Ooooooh Miniatur Wunderland!
I totally wanna go there after seeing in on TV! They have a whole show about the behind the scenes work called Wunderland XXL :)
It’s amazing!
We saw it in 2016, and we took the behind the scenes tour (we requested an English version and they found someone to do it). The guide said they were going to bridge to another building across the water from them. I thought, “Yeah, right, that will never happen.”
A few years later, a bridge went in and now they have trains in the other building, and running through the bridge. They did it!
