Definitely not sorry to be that guy, but Gotham is in the United States, and we say “math” not “maths.”
Weird fact, as I was writing this my phone autocorrected “maths” as “Martha.” I don’t know how I feel about it.
I was gonna make the same point, but Bruce Wayne canonically studied at Cambridge and across Europe. No way he’s going through that without at least using the two interchangeably.
He was also raised from childhood by a British butler.

Gambling is a form of maths
Gambling and math would seem to me the opposite of two face’s concepts. IE the classic coin flip is because he considers 50/50 luck to be fairness. Gambling maths are typically, figuring out how to make something unfair in your favor.
Yet even in his totally fair game, he utilizes proportions.
Or do the Rick and Morty thing and call him Two Halves Different face.

Funny thing is as a canadian I’ve never heard anyone here use maths despite the queen’s english
Agreed. I’m British and became a Canadian Citizen when I was 9 and moved back and forth a lot between the two countries.
When I moved back to the UK when I was 25 – I actually had to get used to hearing and saying “maths”. I remember going to school in Sheffield when I was 14-15 and I must have heard it there but it still shocked me as an adult.

Turns out, cutting out half the joke gives you half a joke.

I really disagree about the main punchline being panel 5, because the 3rd panel is honestly gold.
