I’ve taken a look at Anno 2070, Timberborn, and Terra Nil. Any other recommendations?
“Green New Deal” by Molleindustria (afaik on Steam and mobile app stores)
“Half-earth Socialism” (Steam and Web. They have a website and it’s based on a book. I recommend playing it on the website since the Steam version is buggy af)
both are free as in beer, with the latter also being free as in freedom.
though the latter one has some rly bad takes imo, but it’s still fun to play
The latter one looks like Fate of the World.
There is a gaming coming out later on, called Solarpunk haha! Just saw it on steam the other day.
There’s Solarpunk but it’s not released yet.
Honestly, vanilla Minecraft feels like a solarpunk game to me. You have to build a sustainable living situation with resources you collect by hand.
Yeah, fits very well imo. Then there’s a few mods like Botania, Mystical Agriculture, and Immersive Engineering That really bring out the technological aspect of it.

Eta: posted too quickly, meant to say not video games but maybe worth a mention. I see fully automated on this community sometimes but I dont think I’ve seen coyote and crow talked about here.
I hadn’t heard of the first one before, but I actually own a copy of Coyote and Crow. Haven’t gotten around to playing it yet.
I’d love if people talked about coyote and crow.
