    It’s not foolhardy to wait for inspiration. Otherwise you wouldn’t get good ideas in the shower.

    However, if you’re on a tight deadline, probably the most reliable method I know of is to bounce ideas off of another person. If you’re good, you can even pretend to be different people and brainstorm in this manner all by yourself.

    But since Calvin probably isn’t good at pretending to be different people, he should just bounce some ideas off of Hobbes.
