My sister still won’t speak to me for a joke I made months back- and it’s her birthday next week. I’m printing this and putting it in her birthday card. Maybe I’ll get lucky and she’ll never speak to me again. [/joke]

The thing about feelings is, regardless of how silly they seem to you they are very real to the person experiencing them and should be approached from that angle. Whether the relationship is one you want to put that effort into is a different question I suppose.
Many people have unjustified feelings. I’m not babying sensitive fools or people who hear one thing and think another.
You never stop to consider that you were wrong or that you care more about the person you’re speaking with than being right?
