Yeah, nothing wrong with that. I’m not super into it, because I think it’s a bit over the top if you’re just doing it occasionally (more of just riding an ebike myself from time to time to enjoy the nature and also doing something for my body)… But I have a friend who’s super into it and can afford the expensive gear… he’s also caring a LOT about health (only eating non-UPF, only eating “carb” food when his body needs it during cycling, etc.). It mainly started when he got very ill and since then it was a wakeup call for him. Well, let those people enjoy life and let them value the things they believe in! Nothing wrong with that (as long as they don’t act like “assholes” thinking the streets are only for themselves)
WTH, there’s an initialism to make everyone feel bad these days*… Leave them Lycra daddies alone! I can hardly think of a more wholesome hobby!

I would agree except for the $15,000 bicycle. It’s just comedy how much these things cost these days.
