I watch them with the original language enabling subtitles instead, as for example: watching Korean movies dubbed into English (also with bad lip sync) is just weird in my opinion but I know a few people who do this for various reasons: hate how the original language is spoken, or dislikes the audio (due to accent) so they dub them in English, however the cultural nuance is gone since the original audio language conveys what is intended to be expressed.
I prefer subs but I can’t read so much anymore so I have to resort to dubs. Luckily German dubs are usually top notch.

In Poland it’s super donkey, there you hear the original at half the volume and on top one guy reads the subtitles aloud with a very monotone voice, which is particularly weird during sensual or erotic dialogues between a man and a woman because this guy needs to read both parts.

Subtitles. Even with the best voice actors, something gets lost with dubs. They just never seem to capture the flow and emotion of the original audio. I also like to hear how things sound in other languages, even if I don’t understand the language at all.

Dub is acceptable for some types of animation where translation also adapts it to local culture. And I’d still have subtitles enabled at the same time.

Subs except for a few I have nostalgia for the dubbed version I watched when I was younger
I just don’t like my attention being directed to the text so I miss the actual movie so I watch it dubbed in English most of the time. However, I am also trying to learn Japanese and am at a point where it’s beneficial to watch in Japanese because I can understand a lot of it (not all of it; especially when they aren’t being cordial). Actually am finding that watching the Freiza arc of DBZ in original Japanese audio helps a lot, because Frieza speaks in perfect “polite” Japanese, which is the focus of most of the study material I have.

when I was young I did sub but im older with badder eyes and do dubbed. heck I do subtitles often times with english because I also have bad ears.
