Wood stoves equipped with thermoelectric generators can produce electricity that is more sustainable, more reliable, and less costly than power from solar PV panels.
For real. I use a mix solar heat, and wood burning now (simplest to get into diy), but plan on doing a massive PV array. I was just thinking how i could better capture the waste heat produtivly from wood burning though.
I will almost always had some wood burning, since i have limited space but i do have trees. Which mean more limbs than makes sense to mulch or return to the garden. So im happy to smoke some food with it and burn a small amount to heat the green house in the winter
Why is it always an either/or.
