It pokes fun at truck nuts so i find it funny. I never wear my Crocks with the band in the back so I can’t use these.

A lot of people here treat the idea of being American like it’s a sports team.

Also, it isn’t classy. And it isn’t meant to be. It also serves to communicate that you are relatable to other non-classy people. That can mean that you are an 'easy going person who accepts people as they come" or it can mean the same “…if you are white” (and conservative).

There was a popular show here in the 70s called the Dukes of Hazard about outlaw redneck hooligans. They drove a car with a Confederate flag on it. That kind of crass display was part of the ‘fuck you, you can’t tell me what to do’ mentality, and it caught on for the aesthetics despite being racist. But I think it also opened the door here to people doing the same thing with the American flag.

The flag is never supposed to touch the ground, its considered an insult to the flag and non-patriotic.

So I’m all for it 👍

I don’t know, isn’t that weird? Who does that? (US people, obviously, but other than that?)

Can someone explain to me why someone would wear crocs with the American flag?

They found a pair at Goodwill or some other discount site and cared more about saving a few bucks than looking stylish.

I like that you are more confused about the crocs being american than the nuts that are hanging from them :)

What do the nuts actually symbolize? Im so lost there.

There has been a trend among the dumbest of the dumb rednecks to hang fake rubber nuts off the hitch on their jewelry pickup truck. They think it makes them look masculine, when it makes them look even stupider than they actually are.

It’s how rednecks proclaim trans positivity. The truck wasn’t built with testicles, and then they added them, which alters the truck’s gender. How progressive.

It’s the same thing that happened to Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines, Cinco de Mayo, St. Patties, insert any and every holiday here.

Perversion of core values to turn a profit. It just so happens perverting American values like ‘freedom’ 1) makes people easy to control and 2) makes it easy to sell them shit like truck nuts for your american flag crocs.

    Here’s a fun exercise.

If a person is driving a vehicle that has truck nuts, there is a high probability they are a inbred fascist hillbilly MAGAt.

If you get the chance to talk to the driver of said vehicle, congratulate them on helping their truck transition to male, and thank them for supporting trans rights. Immediately exit the Lowe’s parking lot, letting them stew on what you just said

(Caution: There is a >0% chance you will be assaulted for doing this. That likelihood increases proportionate to the amount of beard and body fat you do not possess)

Regarding truck nuts as gender-affirming surgery for cars is already being lenient. Everyone knows the gender affirmation is really for the owner and not for the car.

I’m not gonna body shame someone for having a little peepee and tiny balls. That’s between them and their therapist/bar tender.

I will say a giant vehicle or firearm is no replacement for gender affirming care. I would add that things that make a man feel more masculine, like hair transplants, penis enlargement, “low T” therapies, and similar things are gender affirming care. Those that receive that care should be reminded of that fact, lest they forget that what’s good for the goose is good for the gander

There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who love Crocs, and those who never tried them on. I’ve tried them on. I have 3 pairs. I will buy more.

I feel like the older I get, that function is more important than aesthetics.

Crocs and other similar foot wear made from eva foam is not only incredibly comfortable but cheap to make.

        It’s just eva foam.

I wish they weren’t so ugly but it is what it is.

I’m honestly surprised no ones been able to design eva footwear that isn’t so ugly.

I’ve seen some ballet flat shoes that are decent design. Croc makes them. But that’s about it.

They could be the most comfortable shoe ever created and I still wouldn’t wear them. Wearing them could feel like getting my dick sucked and I still wouldn’t wear them.

This might indeed be comorbid with the end of something.

Shamelessness is said to be an expression of freedom which is ironically an admittance of repression.

The shameless actor is anxious about lost freedoms, and feels compulsion to perform. Unfortunately their performance is entirely dependant on a viewer, whether to take pleasure in their disgust or to justify further acts in others.

Ultimately if the shameless were truly free they would not have these extreme compulsions. It is said to be common in historical social decline, or when the future is uncertain.

I think truck nuts are a symbol of a certain lifestyle and perspective in life.

They symbolize something specific. A fixation on displays of masculine superiority (even on shoes).

A symbol of insecurity and extreme gender conformity and promotion of toxic masculinity in its most basic form.

Having male genitals on display to prove your manliness.

I don’t have a problem with artistic expression in style. But the message being expressed here is not a testament to the progress of humans but the opposite.
