I was going to say it’s unrealistic because he’s talking using his phone as a phone. I can’t remember the last time I saw someone actually having a conversation aloud where messaging was an option.

I think what people don’t get is they talk loudly. I have nothing against people doing a call in public, but when it’s an appropriate volume. You don’t need to yell. Don’t put it on speaker phone.
I often see it on the bus, and it’s infuriating. The worst part? You can make perfectly good phone calls at normal voice volume as demonstrated by my work colleague doing it
Oh and also… Please don’t put tiktok or your music at full volume. Either put on earphones or wait till you’re off the bus. Respect the others
I get the irritation, too. But, to me, the fact that the comic’s reaction to people talking loudly in public is to shoot them. It’s like it was made by a 14 yo edgelord and the trenchcoat and hat is the cherry on top. I’ve just grown out of that phase, unfortunately. Good on OP for sharing their comic though. It takes guys to do that.
Also getting defensive about your flopped comic and calling people dumb isn’t going to look good.
Personally I think it’s fine? It’s cartoonishly over the top and I’ve done stuff like that as well. And after a long day at work the last thing my autistic ass needs is getting overwhelmed by a yeller so I get the sentiment.
Although I can’t and won’t excuse the artist’s responses. I know it can be sad to see your hard work not paid off, but that’s not a reason to lash out. Just learn what sticks and what doesn’t.

For me it’s not outlandish enough, so it doesn’t come off as a joke but as a whiny little bitch in a trench coat getting irrationally angry about some noise probably at a shitty coffee shop that’s not even specifically for quiet time. Just drink at home if it bothers you so much wtf. OPs bullshit responses don’t help either. At least the opinions seem nearly evenly split according to the vote count.
Modern microphone technology including the algorithms picks up even quiet talking quite crispy and clear.

Eh… I’ve been here. A comic I spent hours on giggling to myself flops hard while lukewarm relatable humour gets boosted up… But meh. As long as I make one person smile, I consider my job done. My comics are shitposts, so I gotta expect that

Yep, but in this case it has to be with the non-stop talking, rather than people who speaks like they were using a megaphone. The inspiration came from a situation like this one in a coffee shop, when there was a guy speaking louder than he should, but not super loud. However, the most annoying part was that this individual never stopped his conversation, and he didn’t stop even to take a breath-in. And when he finally hung up, then he decided to make another call, and start his never-ending speech again. That’s why the text is not bigger, but instead is too extensive, not even fitting in the speech bubble. The idea behind it was to transmit a guy who never stops talking, annoying everybody in the room. But of course I respect your opinion, based on your answers, I can tell you’re smart ^^

Please tell me this comment is satirical. If not, that’s just genuinely sad. Boomers have never been ones to look up to. I live in a city full of them and deal with them every day.
What you don’t like about them? Boomers has lots of pros, and very few cons. They’re polite people, they have lived the golden age of America and humanity: the age were buying a house was cheap, in a period of time with enough technology to not wash their own clothes in the river, but not enough to screw it up with AI and smartphones. Low divorce rate compared with the younger generation, etc.
Oh, let’s see. They’re selfish, they treat everybody else as below them, they think everybody today has the same opportunities and healthy economy that they did, they cling to power long after they’re well past the point of being completely out of touch with modern reality, and they act like the entire world should cater only to them. Fuck 'em. The vast majority I deal with at work are cranky, miserable, rude, with a permanent scowl on their face. They do nothing but complain and there is nothing you can ever do to please them, and you can bet your ass they’ll still show up the next day to do it again. They also can’t drive and I’ve been struck by one at an intersection because her eyes were so bad she didn’t see me.

Firstly, they ARE polite and good people. That thing you’ve mention about veterans it doesn’t apply to the entire generation. That last paragraph that you’ve wrote full of whining and bitterness could (almost) never have been written by the Boomer generation. Most of them doesn’t insult other people for free, like you just did. In that sense they have a better quality as humans than you. That’s more typical in our generations: whining when somebody tells you the truth.
Secondly the article you’ve mentioned is not taking in consideration the low marriage rate that the following generations have and people living outside the US. Besides those divorces are boosted by the “gray divorce”. In they meantime, their children were living with both parents.
And finally, they have some extras advantages: they still lived the golden age of human history for the reason I’ve mentioned in my previous response. Baby Boomers embraced family instead of having those dumb things that nowadays are polluting the western society, like gender ideology, climate change whining, socialism, etc.

If your point is the volume they speak at, that might have been conveyed more clearly by a larger font size instead of a lot of text.
