2 isn’t spamming bud. What someone else was doing the other day posting the same shit 20 times is spamming.

I saw at least three in different communities on my frontpage. Didn’t even care to look at his profile to see how many he’s spammed because I don’t give attention to pathetic spammers like that, I instantly block them.

Well yeah… you blocked me so you won’t see this message, so I’ll guess I’ll answer it for other people instead? That’s how the fediverse works. It’s comprised of different communities. It’s not like I post things all over the place for no reason.

Everything I draw, I share on !thebadwebsite@lemmy.world (in english) and !lemauvaissite@jlai.lu (in french). They’re my “home” communities. I wouldn’t say it’s the same content posted twice, since it’s in two different languages, but you do you.

This one was a comic too, so I posted it on !comicstrips@lemmy.world

This one is a smuggie too, so I posted it on !smugideologyman@lemmy.dbzer0.com

That’s it, I posted the english version of this comic in three different communities, two of which are tiny niche communities that you shouldn’t care about. Way to make a mountain out of a molehill.

I also unblocked you because the Fediverse is filled with twats who don’t believe their eyes.

So you’re saying you did not make four different posts with that comic to four different communities? That you simply made one post and that it shows up on your profile as four different posts, just like it shows up on mine?

Perhaps if you want to spam-share your comics (which is fine, artists need exposure), do it on a couple of platforms. Or at least wait a few hours before sharing it four times on the same platform.

I don’t care about your intent. I could have cared about your art, but since you spammed, I didn’t even give it a critical look, just like I don’t read my junk e-mail.

So you’re saying you did not make four different posts with that comic to four different communities?

Do you have the ability to read the comments you are replying to?

I wrote that I did share it to four different communities.

Let me redo it from the top: On lemmy, there are communities. You share your content on the appropriate communities. I posted it to 3 appropriate communities in english (my home community, comics, and smuggies), and to 1 appropriate community in french (my home community). To consider this spam, you have to fundamentally misunderstand how lemmy works. If it makes you unhappy, just block me once again idk what to tell you, you are literally the first person to complain to me about this.

I find it so hilarious when people who don’t read my comments try the “oh you didn’t read my reply” shit.

                Ofc I did.

                That’s why I said

I don’t care about your intent.

You’ll find that in my unedited comment.

Let me redo this from the top; your intent does not matter. When you post 4 posts in a row to Lemmy, they’re going to be four posts in a row on Lemmy. On Reddit, you can share to a dozen communities without it being spam. On Lemmy you can’t.

                Is this hard to understand?

                “You’re the first person to”

So the fuck what? I don’t care about your intent. I don’t care about your opinions or experiences. You spammed.

If you actually took into account where you are, or what I said, you could’ve done the same without provoking this reaction. And I don’t really care if you care about it.

You had three posts on the same page, my front page of Lemmy. By what perverted definition would that not be spam?

How tf is is it spam??? It’s literally going into four different communities on three different instances. You’ll only see all four if you’re browsing /all, in which case you are taking on the burden of seeing crossposts. If something is relevant in four different communities, it should be posted in four different communities.

You had three posts on the same page, my front page of Lemmy.

Because on Lemmy there are so few posts it all ends up being put in a row. Which makes it spam.

Or is that hard to understand? The definition of spam is multiple (unwanted, but that’s a non-factor as basically I did want one, as I’m browsing the front page of Lemmy). Is it hard for you to understand why repeating the same thing online, several times, is considered spam? Oh wait, maybe you don’t see that as a question unless I use the same punctuation as you. "Is it hard for you to understand why repeating the same thing online, several times, is considered spam**???**

By your logic you should post a news article to every single fucking news community on Lemmy. That would mean dozens and dozens and dozens of the same exact fucking post on the front page, so that you’d have to scroll thorough several pages to see a single other post than that.

And you don’t see how that wouldn’t be functional?

There’s a reason people dislike spam but I don’t think a newfriend like you is able to understand it.

Hey, curate your own comments and block me instead of replying. But you didn’t. Because you want to be noticed, despite not having a single fucking thing to contribute. Bet you’re like that irl as well. Hop on the bandwagon and yell out shit you don’t even think through.

God I wish I could live back when illiterate morons like you knew to keep their facehole shut. Or when I could cease dueled you for it. Bet you wouldn’t have the balls to still be saying shit. I would.

I would.

                  Alright champ.

There’s one way to make sure I never show up again on “your front page of Lemmy”.

Do it again and be done with it.

I’m just quoting some brilliant rhetoric I heard today, don’t mind me.

Edit oh my mistake different guy than the one replying to me in DM’s, I thought I was quoting you back at yourself. Anyway, good luck with your art friend, truly. Spamming just gets me and you lost a viewer but I don’t think that will matter if your art is worth it.

Except I’m not. I don’t complain about two posts in different communities. Three strikes and you’re out.

So idk why you can’t see them and I already blocked the fucker, but I can bet my left testicle and two bitcoin that there were more than two.

Edit I know you wouldn’t believe me anyway nor respect a bet so here, I did unblock him and look at that. FOUR not two.

Now I’m gonna sit here and wait for the “oh sorry, I was wrong” which your ego will never let you even think.

              four

So… The number the author said, then?

I suspect when the dude said ‘two’ it was an estimate, and not quite a professional assessment.

Hey, man. I hate spam too. And I get a LOT of duplicate stores in my feed. And I hate them all. I’m glad you’re here, because you’re going a little manic and now I hate this French dude less. You’ve done a great service and I’m grateful.

What the fuck arr you smoking?

Non-OP claimed OP posted twice. And how in the fuck would anyone estimate four into two? Like have you ever had a single maths lesson? :Ddddd secondly OP admitted he posted fourt times.

Oh no, is writing two paragraphs “going manic”? Is that your professional opinio? That using forums to send messages is a sign of mania? So then, I have multiple people responding to me. This one guy literally in every thread I’m in, and he’s DM’ing me. I don’t see you calling him manic?

So the basic “hop on the bandwagon” for you as well. You guys are just too scared to disagree with people when you actually have reason for it.

And that’s exactly why the world sucks. Because of cowards like that who are afraid of saying what they think because the dumb mases won’t agree and will call them names.

I’ve grew out of that (both sides) decades ago.

You must have something blocked or your instance doesn’t federate. I see four . On lemmy, you can never be sure about post count because instances do weird shit.

Oh so instead of you not seeing the whole of Fediverse, I opened up photoshop and made up those screens?

You are fucking pathetic man. Just say “I was wrong, sorry.” but no, you’re not man enough. Or you think if you said that it would hurt your manhood somehow.

Too bad, you’re just wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. And you know it just like I do, but you can’t accept it.

Or do you think I went through the trouble of photoshopping a realistic photo of a screen after idk writing a local page that I make look exactly like Lemmy? Lol bro, I’m not as pathetic as you and I can actually admit when I make mistakes. You can’t. ;<<<<

I have absolutely nothing to say “I was wrong” about, I showed you their exact profile where they had only made 2 posts. They only had 3 posts in the last day and only 2 of them were the image in this post, one of them being this post.

So you believe the only option to you seeing two of his posts if for me to have made up those images in order to defend my “lies” about the poster?

                    For what fucking motivation?

You are wrong. You called me a liar. I’m not. I never lie. I’m a major dick to people, but I’m not a liar.

I did day “perhaps you can’t see them” but instead of accepting that and admitting there are more posts, you just continue your tantrum because your dick is too small to say “I was wrong” even on a pseudonymous online forum.

So you’re saying I made that photograph, instead of just taking it?

                    You’re pathetic.

No you mean “correct, I will never be able to admit to my mistakes”, because that was my assertion, and you proved it by showing you literally can’t.

So you’re saying this is some photo I completely fabricated, but your screenshits are 100% totally verified truth?

And you wonder why I laugh at your egos? :Ddd

Nope, an excellent one. I do detect that is a reference to some comments I made a few days ago. So to let everyone know, you’re reading up on everything on my profile and you approached me in DM’s, where you suddenly went quiet as if a girl/boy you liked had entered the room.

And you think this makes me look like the lose in this interaction? Guess you really don’t know why I’m laughing at you.
