Ask him what specific conservative policies he supports. Don’t even push back at first, just make him try and articulate what principles he even believes in that aren’t in opposition to something. Like ask “if all the liberals vanished in an instant, what do you and your side believe in and want?”

Yea the thing that really pisses me off about him is like most boomer or boomer adjacent people is he is extremely privileged. His dad was a founding member of Boeing after WW2 and his dad had a hand in establishing Lockheed Martin. When his dad passed he got a huge inheritance like millions and he still complains about lazy millennials and Gen Z not buying or able to afford homes and groceries.
