Is it more likely that a person is a Nazi, or that you’re conventionally unattractive? 🤔

There are a lot of Nazis, but there are way WAY more ugly people before you get too smarmy about it.

I’m sure many people will think you are stunning and brave though and you should hang out with them instead, but the fact remains.

      Edit:

Oh no! Some people are stupid, some people are ugly, and some people are Nazis. And on Lemmy you’re way more likely to find the first two, that’s just how it is. Shine up your personality and practice your multiplication tables.

      Edit 2:

I didn’t actually open and read the comic and sub comic of this comic until now, but the fact remains: ugly people exist and for some reason I can’t escape the blandness of pizzacake..

Actually I’d rather just leave it; still true.

The thing is, people don’t blow up on other people for being ugly. People do blow up on other people for calling out their unacceptable behavior, though. This person’s looks aren’t what they’re upset about, it’s just a socially acceptable reason they can use to vent their frustration about being called out for something else.

        way WAY more ugly people

This is objectively false because beauty/ugly is not a linear scale.

If it were a linear scale then 50% of people would be ugly and 50% would be beautiful. If it’s a scale with two axes, then 25% would be ugly, and 75% would be beautiful to somebody.

And beauty has way more than two scales. Some can be funny and be attractive, they can be pretty and be attractive, they could be caring and be attractive. The list goes on and on.

And what ends up being the case is that the vast majority of people are beautiful, to someone. Except for the dumb fucks that think that others are ugly. They’re beautiful to nobody.

It’s actually not. People who are brilliant in one topic could be easily stupid in another. Picasso couldn’t do calculus. Fish can’t climb trees.

It’s very rare to find an actual stupid person. Uneducated, sure. Ignorant, you betcha. But to be actually stupid across the board, you either need to have a real genetic deficiency, or be stubborn in your ignorance.

And I found that people who think others are stupid very often do so because they are ignorant themselves about the multiple types of intelligence.

I have my suspicions that you might be 2/3 of these things…

You can think whatever you want, internet rando, so long as you aren’t deluded about it. Though delusion seems to be a fairly common position.

Edit: Actually you’re welcome to be deluded too. But it by no means makes you right or your opinion any more valuable 🤷. I suspect you’re at least one.
