Dark chocolate is the best. The ones with orange and hot peppers are my favorite! Also, I want that t-shirt. Same could be said for a lot of 90’s bands.

I thibk it’s more about being used to too much sugar, if you stop eating regular chocolate and then start with dark chocolate a little bit, you will start to like dark chocolate too
As kids we just eat whatever has more sugar, as adults we do that too instinctively but we have enough self control to not do it

I like my dark chocolate as much as I like my coffee. Which is to say I don’t. They’re both bitter, disgusting tasting things for people who must have even more bitter lives.

No small part of why I’ve started ordering coffee ice cream when we go out. I’m the only one in my family that likes it.

Huh, I always liked dark chocolate. I think the first time I met a person who didn’t was when I was in college. I still generally consider it a niche thing to dislike.

As a Belgian who buys a kilogram of our pralines a year, the dark chocolate ones are always the very last to go when passing them around!

I don’t thing many people here actively dislike it, but when given a choice they’ll pick another.

My parents would put a bitterant on me and my twins thumbs to stop thumb sucking

Instead we just started liking bitter flavors a lot

The baking chocolate was not safe from child me!

Weird, I never considered it to be bitter. Like, yeah, 100% dark is for sure bitter, but the 60% I usually see in bars for eating straight just tastes like chocolate, while anything less just tastes like chocolate-flavored milk and sugar. I guess my perspective is off since I ate it from such a young age.

The “trick” is to eat it slowly, let it melt in your mouth. Regular chocolate is full of sugar so you get that sweet instantaneous sugar rush.

    Good comic.

Unlike Radiohead. Whiny zionist babies whose meandering melodies never go anywhere. Nerds.

I’ve liked dark chocolate since I was 6, don’t you dare say I will ever change my taste about it! I’ve only met 2 people who didn’t like it, and they described it like they were describing shit 😭
