Duh that’s Atlantis, obviously.
I dub thee Steve!
nailed it!
That’s N/A Country duh
Reminds me of a philosophical question, what would happen if a new country with zero humans on it appears in our actual timeline? Who would own it?
This is a common worldbuilding scenario I play with, a virgin continent appears suddenly, usually in the South Pacific.
It’s obviously Hy-Brasil, look it up
Null island?
No too far to the northwest. 0,0 is somewhere near the Gulf of Guinea.
So 1% CAN name it?
I’m naming it Bob. 😤
You’ve seen Titan A.E. I gather.
As well as everything else Don Bluth did. 😃
Ah yes, Don Bluth, the man that introduced 90s kids to the concept of mortality. Poor Littlefoot’s mom :( The Secret of NIMH was a favorite of mine. The book it’s based on is pretty weird.
I think it’s called Pain or something.
EDIT: Never mind, it’s Greenland.
Is that that floating plastic island?
I think that was in the Pacific
Where is it written that we can only have one floating plastic island?
It’s floated over here now. It’s not called the fixed island after all.
It has been a bit windy…
I think it is called James
Atlantis!
No, it’s just the Azores, also known as Númenor.
Does that make the Americas Valinor?
Yep, the Undying Lands over here.
Okay but what is that country really? It’s obviously not real, but where is the shape from? Is it just made up, is it another country (I wouldn’t know which one) or is it the shape of some fictional place?
ot real, but where is the shape from? Is it just ma
Each side (except maybe not the bottom) has small disconnected ‘islands’ so it wouldn’t be land-locked.
That split on the north east looks like a rather deep river. Makes me think volcanic. But most of the recent volcanic islands don’t have smaller islands like that around them. Puts me more in the mind of something around the Philippines. It could be something from a high resolution map showing more islands.
I rotated and flipped it every which way, fed it back through tineye and google images, nada. I guess is that it was a collection of islands merged together, or a fictional art piece.
Tap for explaining the joke
It doesn’t exist. The joke is that some people might not know that.
It looks like Antarctica to me, but I’m too lazy to check.
I thought so too, but Antarctica has that big arm which isn’t present here
When you’re right you’re right, and I think you’re right.
For a moment I pondered if that’s what Antartica looks like now that so much of the ice shelf has melted.
That’s Atlantis, but it seems to have grown recently
Jolly old Saint Cruz?
Azores after thanksgiving
