“Observe my anus. I will place it directly in front of your eyes to facilitate inspection.”
“I was feeling under the weather and wanted to find a safe place to hide, so I threw up in various nooks and crannies around the house.”
“I want to go out. Actually, I want in. Actually, no, I want out. On second thought, I want in.”
“I just thought I’d drop by and check to see whether I could get food a few hours early. No? Okay, how about now? No? How about now?”
“As a sign of my undying loyalty, I have placed a dead mouse on the foot of your bed.”
“A new pleather couch? Oh, you shouldn’t have! Permit me to extend my claws and take a jaunt to enhance its breathability.”
“I want to go out. Actually, I want in. Actually, no, I want out. On second thought, I want in.”
The actual translation here is, “Why do you keep closing the door? You should leave it open so I can come and go as I please.”
My cat likes to sleep with it’s ass in my face. Literally. It’s a daily strugle
You definitely have a cat 🤣

Only thing worse then people who go out of their way to attack people and tell them not to have kids.
Is people telling you to have kids.
Mother fucker have you seen my bank account? That kid would need to be working in ye olde mine to pay back the cost of even thinking about having it.
attack people and tell them not to have kids.
People actually do that? That has to be like to most insensitive behavior I have ever heard about. Telling someone they are not fit to reproduce must be either a direct insult or a sign of mental illness.
Why? I know number of people who shouldn’t be allowed to reproduce.
I mean, you can say that about someone as an insult but I don’t think people are saying that to friends or family.
Why an insult? This may be simply a factual assessment of someone’s abilities.
If someone tells me I am unable to participate in London Marathon, it is not an insult, just a fact.
Unable is a different thing than shouldn’t. Unable is clear, shouldn’t implies that you’re defective in a way that should not be passed to next generation. This can also be factually true in case of some terrible, hereditary disease but I doubt it’s what we’re talking about.
Also, discussing fertility with other people is becoming thing of the past. It’s not polite to ask people if and when will they have children. It’s even less polite to suggest them one way or another.
Directly telling them is common enough.
But if we count indirectly telling it is erverywhere. It is brought up in conversations and it is all over social media mostly in a form how they think how immoral is to have kids.
Most probably because some people think they have to explain and appologise for not having kids. And they do that in a form of attacking how having kids is bad and morally wrong. It also does not help that social media is boosting this types of posts because they draw attention.
It might just be me. But I see probably a post like that every day. I have never in my life hear someone explaining how having kids is good or directly say that I should have kids.
If you mean it as expressing their opinion that people in general should not have kids than yes, I guess that’s common enough. Not sure if I would call that attacking people. Directly telling someone they personally should not have kids? That definitely doesn’t sound like it’s common. But I don’t know, maybe I’m just not surrounded by toxic assholes.
No one hearing that people should have kids is total bullshit. You see articles about low birth rates every day. People talk about what should be done so that people have more kids all the time. Half of the population believe that we need more kids and talk constantly how it’s needed to counter immigration and save our retirements. Not to mention people praising being a parent and having kids in general. If you never heard this you’re simply in a bubble.
Genuine question: Is there a reason not to partake in weight training if one’s goal is to get in shape and if one possesses no health issues that bars them from running? Or is the problem in this scenario unsolicited advice?
My adhd overthink be running rn. XD
If you’re not aspiring to be world class athlete you can do whatever exercise you want and not think to hard about it.
Weight training is great for getting in shape.
Running burns calories while you’re running. Weight training burns calories while you’re doing it and for hours to days afterward as muscles are repaired and grow.
Both will do great things for your health in general and help burn off fat. (Though weight training may not be as noticeable on the bathroom scale – muscle weighs more than fat, so if you’re gaining muscle as you lose fat, you might not lose any weight at all; you might actually gain weight. But it will still get rid of fat.) Which type of exercise is right for you depends mostly on what your idea of ‘in shape’ means.
If you’re just trying to be less fat, anything that burns calories is good … but the main way you lose weight is at the table. Put the fork down. Drink water instead of juice or soda. A small change in diet will be more effective than even a very intense workout regime.
If you’re trying to be more muscular and attractive, then weight training should likely be a huge part of that.
And if you’re trying to get into shape in order to be able to do something … well, what are you trying to do? If you’re trying to run faster, you should do running. If you’re trying to be stronger, you should do weight training. If you’re trying to be faster on a bike, you should do biking. Etc, etc, etc. For functional performance improvements, you should mostly just do the thing you’re trying to improve.
The world’s skill system works on Elder Scrolls rules, eh? No wonder there are so many exploits and combos.
The recommendation is to do a combination of cardio, around 150 minutes a week with increased heart rate (or 75 minutes intense cardio) and weight training 2-3 times a week for optimal fitness. Even if you just want to become very good at running, some weight training is helpful. So the advice in this comic is accurate. However, doing anything is better than doing nothing so if just running is what makes you happy, do that and don’t stress.
