My summer and winter clothes are exactly the same. Earthen tone pants, t-shirt, boots, and a Czech army field jacket. The field jacket much like my shirts have a video game and vaguely weeb bias. I burn hot in winter and burn under the sun in summer.

Nope. Jeans, light button down, good color seersucker linen! That’s what it is! Thanks @yappymonotheist blazer. I think it’s seersucker I just got it out of the closet I’m not getting back up right now. Iconic hat if I’m going out out.

    I’m fancy though

Or, get this, the poster is a guy who genuinely feels like this.

I can’t deny that I (as a guy) have often wondered what women see in us, because to me the vast majority of men are poorly dressed on top of looking like we don’t take care of ourselves.

That’s a stretch. I don’t need to hate someone (including myself) to deem them less attractive or just not my type.

And I honestly think that’s what’s at play here - straight guys are into women and will judge their appearance differently from how they judge the appearance of other men.

Perhaps we don’t collectively look like we dress poorly and barely take care of ourselves to women, as they likely look at other aspects of our physical appearance than we do

I completely agree. I mostly end up wearing band t-shirts now because my preferred style (long sleeved button downs with cool looking fabrics, rolled up sleeves - no, short sleeved button down shirts do not work they look goofy and are cut to a very different pattern. They aren’t sleek enough yes I know I’m fat and not sleek I don’t care) only comes in stupid plaid and stupider plaid. Fortunately I can get away with a sports coat over that since my current day job is musician.

Just for clarification, i don’t really care about fashion, i prefer comfort and efficiency and bulk buying oversized t-shirts and sweatpants, shorts for summer, seem to be the absolute best for that purpose.

But, we do have the entire world at our fingertips. No need to be limited to whatever your local store offers.

The stuff I have been looking for is available at Nordstrom for like 300/shirt. Or 700/jacket I have this jacket I have been lusting over for A While Now. I have to wait for it to hit The Rack and then their discount rack and hope no one has bought the cool looking shit.

Yeah I feel like when it comes to summer dress for guys it’s basically the shorts & t-shirt outfit accurately depicted in the meme, topless if you’re got the body/don’t-give-a-fuck, or white cotton shirt and trousers that make you look somewhere between wannabe boyband member and British pink-skinned colonist on a gap year.

If people have sensible options outside of that (man-kini does not count) please let us know below.

We can’t both care about the same things, and we don’t, by and large. But for those who do, there’s always Zara, lol. Get yourself a nice linen shirt and some Chino shorts, idk. 👍
