I’m sorry, only 200%? You mean to say the original (plain old) cat was already 1/3 of the way to however sexy this one is?

Reading between the lines here, you’re downplaying how sexy you think this cat is overall, but your shock suggests you think this cat is insanely sexier than a typical cat

      however sexy this one is

Tssk, tssk. You know how sexy it is

Or you think regular cats are obscenely ugly

Given the number of people I have seen making allusions to themselves sleeping in the kennels they keep in their rooms…

This is just an out of touch marketing exec.

    Yep.

    Its cat food.

    For cats.

    Yep.

    Mhm.

Yep thats our market demo, mhm.

We’ve had a long line of animated characters absolutely fucking with all our developing wires when we were exposed at a vulnerable age.

I go way back, Disney’s Robin Hood/Maid Marian was my problematic pubescent mind-worm. Didn’t help that when growing up without school or friends or even a phone, it was one of only a handful of VHS cassettes I owned so I watched it a thousand times.

Later generations had so many others, from the mainstream favorites like Lola Bunny to more obscure ones like Minerva Mink in Animaniacs, to where we are today where I don’t think I can even watch Zootopia around others without feeling uncomfortable because of how much “content” is floating around out there.

I do think it’s healthy though, I think if we allowed more people to realize that their attractions are highly subjective and do not need to follow some homogeneous cultural norm, we would probably have a lot fewer people with crazy hangups and crippling insecurity about their weird kinks and desires.

You can’t tell me that the person who chose “Temptations” as a brand name for cat treats wasn’t at least a little bit into Furry stuff.

Somehow reddit has a parasocial relationship with this person, they hate her. She committed the crime of being mildly cringe. And she has and OF, which i’m sure a lot of users on reddit must have seen, but they act like they’re above her just because. Yes she does NSFW stuff, nothing weird tho.

I would say the majority of reddit liked her work, including me, because it was always upvoted despite a few vocal people getting their undies in a twist and complaining. Plus her comics were used pretty widely for making memes.

Never understood the complaints that she did NSFW stuff, artists gotta eat too!

I like that 200% sexier implies that this character is exactly 3x as sexy as a regular cat

People complain that a woman comic artist isn’t somehow living up to expectations that are 10,000X higher than the average “gaming comic slop” chud comic artist so every time she makes a comic that’s just “meh” it’s like a dinner-bell and the post gets 1000 comments arguing and debating why she’s “overrated” and then the goalposts move and people start bringing up nebulous nonsense like “She’s actually a terrible person because she got in a reddit argument this one time, here’s a link with 50 pages of conversations, I know you want to read it all.”

Most of her stuff I’ve seen has been like that. Very Reddit, “does anyone else” style stuff. But I only see what pops up, her other stuff might be totally different.

Not the porn though, that was bland, vanilla but maybe not uncontroversial

How do you have a staggering 0% upvoted…? Did you remove your own god-given upvote?

          … Honestly, I respect it.

Some Fediverse frontends don’t set the self-upvote by default (kbin for example), but since lemmings.world is a Lemmy instance it was probably removed by the author (maybe accidentally double-click on posting?).

You can see how many upvotes and downvotes a comment has, and this one shows at 0 upvote, despite the fact you should automatically give yourself an upvote when you post. It’s possible to remove your self-upvote, if you want to for some reason.

Though I think some instances hide downvotes in UI, so maybe you can only see the total? not sure.

Edit: I should mention I didn’t pay to see any of it, I saw her promoting it so free titty pics were appreciated I guess

Which is especially funny since for some pearl clutching prudes, her having an OF at all, regardless of content, was controversial. I wouldn’t sub, but that’s also completely her call if she wants to be out there like that.
